Roland Istvan – Warehouse Logistics Manager with Analytical Foresight
Since October 2022, Roland Istvan has been part of the Transdanubia team as Warehouse Logistics Manager. In his role, he combines analytical thinking with a strong sense of teamwork and continuous development. His main responsibilities include process analysis and optimization, customer support, and the coaching and development of employees.
What Roland particularly values is the variety and dynamism of his daily work: every day brings new challenges, as customer requirements and expectations often change at short notice. Flexibility and creativity are therefore key to his success. He is especially proud of the KPI dashboard he developed, which digitally captures and visualizes the most important production processes. It creates transparency, helps identify strengths and weaknesses, and enables more informed negotiations with customers.
A typical workday?
Roland hardly has one. Alongside customer support and organizational tasks in the warehouse, he deliberately works closely with his team on a regular basis – often several times a day. For him, this is essential in order to experience the daily challenges of employees firsthand: “Only then can we truly support as leaders – and at the same time strengthen motivation and trust within the team.”
Outside of work, Roland’s heart beats for knowledge and curiosity. He is passionate about both old and new insights, especially in religion, electromagnetism, and motivation. When he is not reading or researching, he spends time with his family, goes go-karting, plays table tennis, or draws.
If he had to describe Transdanubia in one word, it would be “family-friendly” – a place where mutual consideration and togetherness truly matter.
