Michael Kerecz – Passionate About Development and Team Spirit

Since 2017, Michael Kerecz has been part of the Transdanubia Group at the Werndorf and Wundschuh sites. With great dedication, he drives the further development of the site, his employees, and his own skills.

His journey at Transdanubia began in goods receipt with a focus on planning. In this role, he was able to purposefully apply his previously acquired experience. Through an early succession plan, Michael first took on the responsibilities of deputy site manager – until, thanks to Transdanubia’s trust, the opportunity arose for him to take over leadership himself.

Today, he is responsible for over 300 employees and coordinates numerous projects – from automation initiatives and expansion work to process optimization and KPI analysis. His daily routine is varied and shaped by constantly changing demands: screen meetings alternate with walkthroughs, discussions, and personal conversations. Michael particularly appreciates this dynamic, because “no year is like the other.”

Transdanubia – the family-owned business

He is proud of his team’s achievements and the close collaboration with partners, who together move impressive volumes every day – a logistical interplay that is second to none in Europe.

In his free time, Michael devotes himself enthusiastically to his family. His passion is Formula 1 – particularly the fascinating connection between technology, precision, and logistics behind the scenes. The performance mindset of the racing drivers inspires him in his professional life as well: always focused, with a clear strategy and united team spirit.

For Michael, Transdanubia is above all one thing: a family business. Short decision-making paths, mutual appreciation, and the trust to grow together make all the difference for him.
