25 Years of Refrigerated Logistics at Transdanubia: A Portrait of Peter Lenuck
When Peter Lenuck joined Transdanubia in January 2001, it marked the beginning of a success story spanning more than a quarter of a century. He started his career in import refrigerated transport dispatch and has continuously expanded the frozen and charter segment ever since.
Dynamism and versatility
Today, as Department Head of Frigo Import Dispatch & Frigo Charter, he is responsible for managing an eight-person team and also serves as a Key Account Manager for several major players in the frozen food sector.
Peter’s workday is dynamic and multifaceted. He always starts the day by reviewing the routes driven and the truck utilization from the previous day. In addition to this daily evaluation and the operational planning of dedicated carriers, he handles pricing for the entire import refrigerated division, prepares quotes for potential new clients, and conducts price negotiations with long-standing partners and subcontractors. If any discrepancies arise in the chain, he steps in immediately to resolve the operational issues.
It is precisely this variety and dynamic pace that still drive him after all these years. Even on hectic days, he knows that thanks to the team's efforts, there is always a positive outcome at the end. When asked what he is particularly proud of, he does not have to think long: the fact that he has been part of the strong development that Transdanubia has undergone over the past decades. If he had to describe Transdanubia with a guiding principle, he aptly sums it up with the motto: “There’s no such thing as 'can't'.”
To find the necessary balance after the hustle and bustle of daily logistics, Peter seeks physical relaxation. He is a passionate athlete who is regularly found at the gym or heads out for swimming, hiking, and skiing. In addition to his active lifestyle and a passion for travel, his football heart beats faithfully for FC Bayern.
