Logistics Up Close: Transdanubia Inspires Tomorrow’s Logistics Experts

What does modern, high-quality B2B logistics look like in daily practice? To seamlessly bridge the gap between theory and practice, we opened our doors to the logistics class of the Handelsakademie (HAK) Traun. It was a valuable visit where the next generation experienced the dynamic world of supply chain management firsthand.

For Transdanubia, exchanging knowledge with educational institutions is a deliberate commitment. The logistics industry is evolving rapidly through digitalization, automation, and increasingly strict quality standards. By actively introducing young talent to real-world operations, we invest directly in the future of our industry. We demonstrate that working in B2B logistics is about much more than transport—it requires precision, innovation, and expertise.

The Complete Supply Chain in View

During the visit, students experienced the entire logistical process from A to Z, gaining a realistic and detailed overview of our daily operations:

  • Digital Administration and Planning: From initial truck registration to smooth, paperless document handling in the office, students saw how digital systems form the backbone of an efficient supply chain.
  • Quality Control in the Warehouse: At the loading and unloading docks, visitors observed our specialists up close, focusing on critical procedural steps such as digital scanning and precise temperature checks.
  • Advanced Temperature Zones: A tour of our cross-dock warehouse (+2°C / +16°C) and high-bay storage highlighted the logistical precision required for temperature-controlled goods flows.

Building the Future of Logistics

Educating, inspiring, and guiding the next generation is a core value for us. By offering hands-on experiences like this, we aim to inspire students as they navigate their future educational and career choices.

We look back on a successful visit filled with insightful questions and engaging interactions. Transdanubia remains dedicated to bridging the gap between education and practical application, building the future of the logistics sector together.
