Through the use of a satellite communication system and the possibility this provides of efficient material requirements planning for vehicles, we have managed to reduce the quantity of empty kilometres. We have also reduced the accrual of empty kilometres by making our foreign partner network more condensed. All vehicles are fitted with navigation systems that also serve efficiently to prevent detour kilometres.
Thanks to the purchase of new lightweight aluminium trailers, enabling the exploitation of higher payloads, we have reduced the transport frequency at the same transport quantity. In addition, already a quarter of the vehicles drawn consist of mega trailers, which, because of their volume, allow better utilisation of the transport capacity.
In the future, TRANSDANUBIA will continue to strive to protect the environment and use innovations profitably. This is documented by a certification according to EN ISO 14001
